"Working Papers" Series

Over the years, the former Department of Historical, Legal, Political and Social Sciences (Digips) had launched study series with different characteristics and formats [Working Paper, Studies and Research, Studies and Research – Monographs]. It also hosted the editorial office of a series of historical and institutional studies on Siena and its territory [Documenti di Storia]. Here we provide, as far as possible, the pdf files of all volumes directly published by the former Digips. The Working Papers series of the former Digips was the department's first series: it hosts essays and long articles (often preliminary to more in-depth research) by young researchers.

“Studi e Ricerche” Series

The “Studi e Ricerche” series was launched by the former Digips in order to provide a venue for studies and essays that were quantitatively more substantial than the previous series, and which were not so much an expression of work in progress, but rather of research in a much more advanced stage, closer to a monograph than an essay.
