The increase in Third Mission activities aligns with DISPI's strategic objectives for the next three years, as the development of an already significant area continues. In this context, traditional activities such as organizing conferences, seminars, and book presentations open to the scientific community, students, and the public outside the university are highlighted, along with participation in radio and television programs.
Particular emphasis is placed on activities within the European project Key Code, which engages the school community on topics such as human rights education and global citizenship. Equally noteworthy are initiatives in the fields of journalism history, the Network of Universities for Peace (RUNIPACE), sustainable mobility, climate change, and environmental economics, with plans to organize events that attract broad public interest.
A project currently in development is titled "The Floor to Teachers," a collaboration with the ADN Foundation and the Parri Institute, explicitly aimed at strengthening relationships between the Department, important cultural institutions, and schools across the nation.
