
Full Professor of Contemporary History. During his doctoral and post-doctoral years, he conducted research at the Public Record Office, the School of Oriental and African Studies, the British Library in London, and other research institutions 1 in England. Since 2002, he has been teaching History of Political Movements and Parties, and later History of Political Systems, at Di.Spi. From 2006 to 2009, he taught Comparative History of European Political Systems in the Specialized Degree Course (now Master's Degree) in Public Administration at the Faculty of Political Science of the Luiss Guido Carli University. Since 2009, he has collaborated with teaching and seminar activities in the Master's program in Parliament and Public Policy at the School of Government of Luiss Guido Carli University. At Di.Spi, since 2009, he has been a member of the Teaching Committee for the LM 52 program, was a member of the Orientation Committee; since 2013, he has been the Research Coordinator, and since 2017, he has been responsible for research quality and the Third Mission of the Department. He is a member of the scientific and editorial board of "Ventunesimo Secolo. Rivista di studi sulle transizioni"; a member of the scientific committee of "Nuova Rivista Storica" and of the editorial board of the "Storia e storiografia" series for Rubbettino University Press.
