STUDENT ELECTIVE COURSES L-36

Criteria for Including an Elective Course in Your Academic Record

Students enrolled in the Bachelor's Degree Program in Political Science (L-36), when choosing elective learning activities, must adhere to the general criterion that the same course cannot be repeated and must follow the criteria below:

  1. They must first refer to the courses offered in the other curricula of the Bachelor's Degree Program.
  2. Alternatively, they can independently include courses offered by the Bachelor's Degree Programs in Social Work, Communication Sciences, Banking and Finance, Economics and Business, Legal Services, Languages for Intercultural and Business Communication, Education and Training Sciences, Historical and Cultural Heritage Sciences, Literary and Philosophical Studies, and the single-cycle Master's Degree Program in Law.
  3. They can include courses taken as part of Erasmus Projects, in compliance with the established procedures and with prior authorization from the Teaching Committee.
  4. They can include courses offered in the Department's Master's Degree Programs (LM-52, LM-63, and LM-87), having already acquired the prerequisites established by the Teaching Committee and as specified below:
    • They can include courses offered in the Master's Degree Programs in International Relations (LM-52), Administrative Sciences (LM-63), and Social Sustainability and Welfare Management (LM-87) if these courses are part of a list of subjects offered as alternatives to each other. In this case, if the student subsequently enrolls in one of the aforementioned Master's Degree Programs, they will not be able to retake the exam already passed during the Bachelor's program and will have to take one of the remaining exams in the list of subjects.
    • They can include courses offered in the Master's Degree Programs (LM-52, LM-63, and LM-87) that do not have alternative subjects only with prior authorization from the Teaching Committee. In this case, if the student subsequently enrolls in one of the aforementioned Master's Degree Programs whose study plan includes this course as mandatory, they will have to ask the relevant Teaching Committee to replace this course with another in the same subject area (SSD) or the same disciplinary field among those taught at the University.

ATTENTION!!!

The elective and optional courses selected for the academic year 2023-2024 cannot be modified or replaced after April 30, 2024, unless enrollment for the academic year 2024-2025 is renewed within the established deadlines. In that case, the eventual awarding of the degree can take place starting from the first available session of the academic year 2024-2025.
