The Departments are required to establish an internal Research Quality Assurance (AQR) system. Departments have the freedom to organize their AQR system according to their specific needs, always considering the general guidelines and policies defined by the University and taking into account the requirements of the AVA system, including the compilation of the Single Annual Research Data Sheet for Departments (SUA-RD) to be carried out under the supervision of the PQA (University Quality Assurance Officer).
The Single Annual Research Data Sheet for Departments (SUA-RD) contains the information and data useful for the evaluation of research within the AVA system (Self-Assessment, Periodic Evaluation, Accreditation), both in terms of the Periodic Accreditation of University Locations, and therefore the evaluation of the Quality Assurance system of the Universities, and with regard to the annual verification of research results for the purposes of the Periodic Evaluation.

The SUA-RD (Single Annual Research Data Sheet) allows Departments to reflect on the level of awareness of their research programming activities and provides the necessary information to anchor this reflection to real indicators and data. The SUA-RD collects data on the entire scientific production related to the period under review and therefore provides an overall picture of the state of the art of departmental research.
The University's Research Quality Assurance System requires Departments to annually review their AQR plan, monitoring the effectiveness of planned actions and defining new objectives and actions.
