In order to enroll in the Master's Degree Programme in European Studies, students are required to hold a certified knowledge of English at least at level B2. Those students who do not hold a certificate issued by a recognised awarding body have to take the B2 English Language level test at the CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo - Piazza San Francesco, 7 - http://www.cla.unisi.it/it).
In order to successfully complete the Master's Degree, students have to acquire a knowledge of English at level C1. The study programme requires its students to take the C1 English Language course which is scheduled in the first year (October 3, 2016 - May 30, 2017): at the end of the course, students will take the C1 English Language level test. Students' enrollments for the C1 English Language course will be accepted at the CLA until September 30 next.
Those students who already hold a C1 certificate are entitled to exemption from the English Language course, but they have to get in touch with the CLA as soon as possible: the CLA will check and confirm the certificates provided that they are issued by a recognised awarding body.
