LaRGe Laboratory

PRESENTATION

The LaRGe (Gender Research Laboratory) represents a focal point in the scientific debate on issues related to gender equality and differences, and equal opportunities, both from the perspective of multi- and transdisciplinary research and in terms of training and the Third Mission. It is no coincidence that the multidisciplinary course "Discrimination and Gender Violence," a multidisciplinary teaching initiative involving various departments and scholars from across the University, is based in the Department of Political and International Sciences (DISPI). The Laboratory also aims to facilitate the organization of training activities and the dissemination of research results by experts in the field present in the Department and the University. The group of researchers who originated the Laboratory has, in fact, been involved for years, in the scientific sectors of Contemporary History, Public, Labor and International Law, Political Economy, and Demography, in activities of analysis and evaluation of the impact that gender discrimination has in various disciplines.
