Associate Professor, Contemporary History.
During his PhD and postdoctoral years he has been researching at the Public Record Office, the School of Oriental and African Studies, the British Library in London and other research institutes in UK.
Since 2002 he has been teaching History of Movements and Political Parties and then of History of Political Systems at Di.Spi.
From 2006 to 2009 he has taught comparative history of European political systems at a specialist degree (now Magistral) in Public Administration of the Political Science Faculty of Luiss Guido Carli.
Since 2009 he has been working with teaching and seminar activities at the Master in Parliament and public policies at the School of Government of Luiss-Guido Carli.
At Di.Spi since 2009 to 2018 he was a member of the LM 52 Educational Committee, he was a member of the Guidance Commission; Since 2013 he is Research Director and since 2017 he has been responsible for the Department's research quality.
Since october 2019 he is the chairman of the Department of Political and International Sciences.
He is a member of the Scientific and Management Committee of "Ventunesimo Secolo"; member of the board of "Nuova Rivista Storica"; member of the editorial committee and the steering committee of the "History and historiography", column for Rubbettino University.
